Casual Leave

Casual Leave (CL) is a type of paid leave granted to an employee for unplanned or unforeseen situations that require their absence from work for a short duration. CL is available after an employee’s probation period and is part of an organization’s overall leave policy. Casual leave is paid, meaning that employees continue to receive their regular salary for the duration of the leave. In many organizations, casual leave becomes available to employees after completing their probation period. Every organization has its own leave policies, including rules for casual leave. The number of days allowed, conditions for availing casual leave, and any specific documentation or notification requirements may vary.
