Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Labour and Employment in India. It runs the Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) system, a comprehensive social security scheme designed to provide employees in India with socioeconomic security. ESIC operates as a self-financing scheme, where employees contribute a fixed percentage of their wages to avail of these benefits. Employers subject to the ESI Act are required to register for the ESI plan. The employer should choose ESIC registration and register all qualified employees.
