Reviewee

The term “reviewee” refers to the individual who is being reviewed or evaluated during performance appraisal or assessment within an organization. The process of reviewing involves the verification and evaluation of the tasks, activities, or overall performance of the individual. This evaluation is often carried out by managers or supervisors as part of the Performance Management System (PMS) in a company.

During a performance appraisal, managers assess an employee’s accomplishments, contributions, strengths, and areas for improvement. The reviewee, in this case, is the employee undergoing the evaluation. The feedback received contributes to their professional growth and the overall success of the organization. In the broader context of a Performance Management System, managers review not only individual tasks but also the alignment of an employee’s efforts with organizational objectives.
